Jill Alison Cramer is an international trade attorney whose practice focuses on unfair trade litigation, export controls, economic sanctions and customs law. Ms. Cramer counts major U.S. electronics, technology and medical device manufacturers, as well as universities and insurance companies, among her former clients. She has also represented companies involved in the steel and furniture sectors in multiple high-profile antidumping and countervailing duty cases. Ms. Cramer has accrued extensive experience assisting U.S. and foreign companies in ensuring compliance with U.S. economic sanctions and export controls. She has developed strategies for defending clients against trade-related U.S. government enforcement actions and has developed export and import compliance programs for her clients. She has also aided major U.S. multinationals in conducting internal investigations on compliance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act. Prior to joining Mowry & Grimson, Ms. Cramer practiced in the international trade groups of Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher & Flom LLP and Bryan Cave LLP. Before entering private practice, Ms. Cramer clerked for Chief Judge F.A. Little, Jr. of the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Louisiana. |
